Coax Cable

Coax for CB and amateur radio aerials, as made up patch leads with PL259 plugs fitted at both ends, or as 20 metre lengths of 50 ohm mil spec cable. Leads run from 0.5 metre RG58 up to 30 metres of RG213, plus a 4 metre SO239 mobile aerial mount with RG58 cable rated DC to 500MHz. Choose on loss over the length of the run and on how tightly it has to be routed.

• RG58, 6mm: 1.5dB loss per 10 metres at 100MHz, the thinnest and easiest to route
• Mini8, 7mm: 1.2dB per 10 metres, 88% braid
• RG213, 9mm mil spec: 0.7dB per 10 metres, 98% braid, for long base runs and high power
• Sirio Teflon RG303, 4 metres, rated to 2000 watts for the Turbo-5000 and Performer-5000
