VHF-UHF RADIO

Three products make up one dual band station: the radio, the aerial and the duplexer that keeps the bands apart on one feed. The Moonraker Luna VHF/UHF Mobile Transceiver runs up to 70W across VHF and UHF and includes a software cable. The MRQ575 2/70 mobile aerial works 144 to 146MHz and 430 to 440MHz on a 95cm whip with a tilt over base, and is listed as DMR, D-Star and Fusion compatible.

• Fitting: the MRQ575 uses the PL259 fitting, the Diamond MX-72H an SO239 socket and two PL259 leads.
• Power: the MRQ575 is rated at 100 watts, above the Luna output of 70W.
• Band split: the MX-72H passes 1.6 to 30MHz and 49 to 150MHz on its low pass side, 400 to 460MHz on its high pass side.
