The Sirio angled connector is a right angle adaptor carrying two SO239 sockets, made in Italy by Sirio Antennas for CB installations where the coax cannot run straight out of the socket. It turns the feeder at the panel instead of forcing a tight bend behind the radio or at the aerial mount, which is where cables usually get strained. In a truck cab, on a boot lip or against any tight bulkhead, it keeps the run tidy and the connection mechanically sound.

The body seats in a 16 mm mounting hole, so measure the panel or bracket before ordering and check there is clearance behind it for the cable to turn. Both ends are SO239 sockets, which means you need a lead with a matching plug fitted at each end rather than a bare cable tail. As with any change to an aerial system, put a meter on the line afterwards and re-check the SWR with the aerial back in its normal working position.
