The GGD Turbo 2002 PL is a two metre mobile CB antenna from GGDantennas, made in the United Kingdom and supplied with the PL fitting already attached. It works across 26 to 28.5 MHz at 50 ohm impedance, which is the standard match for a vehicle CB set and coax run. A full length whip like this suits a driver with room for a permanent roof or boot installation rather than a short temporary aerial.
- Frequency: 26 to 28.5 MHz
- Impedance: 50 ohm
- S.W.R.: 1.1 to 1.2
- Maximum power: 2000W
- Height: 2 metres, PL fitting, package weight 880 g
The PL fitting screws onto any mount with a matching PL socket, and that mount needs a solid metal surface with a sound earth behind it to perform properly. Cable is not included, so order coax to suit the length of your run. Check your clearance before ordering, because two metres of aerial above the roofline adds up at car park barriers and low bridges. As with any aerial, set it up with an SWR meter once it is fitted and connected.
